Figure 1: Case Description - A 17-hand Thoroughbred hunter weighing 1400 pounds suffered a fracture of the proximal portion of the olecranon process. Lameness was immediate and severe. As will be seen on subsequent films, the fracture was located just proximal to the coronoid process of the ulna.
