HONEY recovered from surgery very quickly and was sent home
partially weight bearing on the R hind leg. She was fully
weight bearing within a week of surgery. Routine follow up radiographs taken
at 6 weeks reportedly showed bone bridging of the fracture site in both
views. She was returned to normal activity and has shown no lameness since
that time. The implants are still in place.
